I always feel a bit sorry for Hilary Benn. Born of that fiery old trouble maker, he was always going to struggle to match up to his father. And he is an intelligent, civilised man but he doesn't have the aggression, and let's face it, outright spite of Tony, to be able to say what he thinks and sod anyone who disagrees. And so he gets landed with gentle, greeny, digging for victory type jobs.
